Welcome to The SAHM Collective, where we celebrate the incredible journey of motherhood and the strength of stay-at-home moms. Our story begins with the heart and soul of our company, our CEO and Founder, mother of a baby girl, Rachel Manchev.
Rachel's path to creating The SAHM Collective started with a profound personal transformation. Having previously pursued a career in the medical field and even recently graduating with a health management degree, she found herself facing a total life changer - motherhood. Becoming a stay-at-home mom was a remarkable shift, and in the process, she felt like she had lost a part of her identity.One fateful day, Rachel decided to brighten her friend's day with a gag gift, a small gesture meant just for fun. Little did she know that this simple act of kindness would have a huge impact. Her friend, touched by the thoughtful gesture, tearfully expressed, "I really needed a pick me up, thank you."
As the days unfolded after this heartfelt encounter, Rachel couldn't shake the idea that many stay-at-home moms like herself longed for a little extra appreciation and joy in their lives. She began searching for a monthly subscription box tailored to the needs and desires of mothers but couldn't find one that resonated with her. Recognizing the potential of her idea and the need to bring this vision to life, Rachel turned to her best friend and fellow mother of two boys, Vivian Nguyen. Her immediate enthusiasm and support sealed the deal as they decided to embark on this inspiring journey together, dedicated to making The SAHM Collective a reality.
